Music knows no borders.

It connects people across languages, cultures and generations.

Under the title “Klangbrücken” – Bridges of Sound – the German Association of Music and Art Educators (Deutscher Musik- und Kunstpädagogen e. V.) invites guests to a special Chinese-German friendship concert at the Casals Forum of the Kronberg Academy on 11 November 2026.

The concert celebrates German-Chinese friendship and cultural exchange. Works by European and Chinese composers meet in a varied programme, opening a musical dialogue between different traditions.

With the Main Chamber Soloists Frankfurt, the concert brings together musicians who play in ensembles including the hr-Sinfonieorchester (Frankfurt Radio Symphony) and the orchestra of Oper Frankfurt.

The concert also marks the tenth anniversary of the association, which since its founding has been committed to music education, international cooperation and cultural exchange between China and Germany.

Concert pianist Weiran Zhang, chair of the association, initiated the concert and is responsible for its overall artistic and organisational direction.

The Main Chamber Soloists Frankfurt are a professional chamber ensemble that brings together highly accomplished musicians from the Rhine-Main region.

Its members play with the hr-Sinfonieorchester (Frankfurt Radio Symphony), the orchestra of Oper Frankfurt and other renowned German orchestras.

The ensemble is devoted to chamber music in a variety of formations, combining artistic quality with international cultural exchange.

A particular focus lies on musical encounters between Europe and China.
